jack of all trades, master of some.
i’ve been an artist my whole life, switching mediums every few years. i’ve enjoyed drawing, painting, pointed pen calligraphy, knitting, comics, sewing, writing, interior design, ceramics, poetry, webdesign, zines, and woodworking. some have had more staying power than others, and some may circle back around yet. so far, no metalsmithing or music, but i won’t rule it out.
along with artistic seeking, i have a deep interest in psychology and healing, and a curiosity about the mysteries of life. astrology has resonated with me since i was a pre-teen, although it wasn’t until my mid-twenties that i began to take seriously the amount of time i was devoting to its study. my education is informal and varied – some authors who inform my practice are dane rudhyar, robert hand, gail fairfield, and chani nicholas. as my first saturn return ended, i turned my years of learning into a consulting practice.
i am queer, and i live with my soon-to-be wife sean real and our dog carrot in unceded lisjan ohlone territory, currently oakland ca.
